Panther Creek Farm School
Panther Creek’s Farm School (PCFS) began as a pilot program in 2022. A child-led, play-focused program utilizing Panther Creek’s many outdoor resources, young children explored learning in a tactile, outdoor setting. In 2023, PCFS reboots as a therapeutic learning focused program which explores the outdoors in a unit study model. Our curriculum focuses on play while reinforcing critical concepts in social-emotional learning, science, language arts, math, art, horses and recreation. PCFS is led by clinical social worker Nicole Rocco-Lapinski, LCSW and assisted by Panther Creek Health’s equine specialists. PCFS is open to young children ages 3-9. New in Fall 2024: our Farm School Helper program, open to Ages 10+. This role includes the same learning activities as well as child development curriculum.
